Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss. We're here for you. Consider your hand held.xoxo
ReplyDeleteJust remember that you're not alone, Joe will be right there with you as you make this journey. And I'm certain that you've learned so much more than you realize already. We are all rooting for you. I never had the pleasure of actually meeting either one of you, but I've followed the adventures you've shared and seen the magic in person in sweet Seguin. Take care, dear Glenn. And know that there are lots of people thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol
I have always enjoyed your blog and will continue so as God leads by the hand in this journey. Prayers.

ReplyDeleteOh so sorry for your loss. It must be hard to go on with the things that you both loved so much. Prayers for you.
ReplyDeleteHuge footsteps is true, but you can do it. Start with baby steps.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you.

Glenn, I have not been able to see you in person, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Each time I stop by The Attic, I see and feel Joe's influence and love for what you, two, did. It will not be easy, but when you take it one day at a time, you can manage. There will be times when you are flooded with grief and then the next moment laughter will spill out as you remember a special time or crazy thing you did. Please know that Betsy & I are here for you and send hugs until we see you in person. Joe is missed and his memories live on.
ReplyDeleteGlenn, I just read Elaine's comment and say "Ditto"... but wanted to add that I'm so glad you decided to continue with the blog. I knew Joe was the writer before but I could "see" your hand in much of what he wrote about as well. You'll do fine with this and like everyone else, I'll gladly be of any help I can (although I'm a POOR example of writing faithfully on my blog! ha!).... We love you and look forward to giving you a big hug when I see you in person.
ReplyDeleteBetsy

ReplyDeleteGlenn--First of all I'm so very sorry for your loss. It doesn't sound sincere, but I truly mean it. Although I've never "met" you and Joe in person, I met you both here in Blog-land and have been a loyal reader ever since. The only way any of us can keep moving forward is to lean on one another for encouragement, laughter, and support--this is a great community for that! Please keep sharing here. I look forward to your words and perspective on the Junkin' life...please continue sharing the whimsy, beauty, and enthusiasm for unique old needful things. Peace, love, and hugs to you, sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you, Glenn! So glad to see your post and trust that blogging will be a great outlet for you. I will greatly miss Joe's perspective but look forward to reading yours. ~Sarah
ReplyDeleteI will gladly hold your hand and hold a very special place in my heart for you! I think you are doing exactly what Joe would want you to do. One of the reasons that I love the "blogging world" is all the caring and love that is shared!
ReplyDeleteTake care my friend. . .
